I am known as a Cockatiel

I've either been abandoned or I've escaped

I'm only native to Australia, 

For me, Florida's a failure,

And I will soon not have a g'day, mate. 

(This bird will most likely succumb to illness, predators or starvation soon as it is clearly a captive bird who has no idea how to survive outside of a cage inside a human's home.)
