February 16, 2024

I am a male Violet-Tailed Sylph
My tail is long, forked, and violet blue
I seek higher altitudes
When flowers bloom
Like most critters, I follow the food.

This week I have been featuring birds from our trip to Ecuador to get you psyched up for mine and David's free presentation to Space Coast Audubon TONIGHT Friday, February 16. Hope to see you there!

Location: Sachatamia Lodge, Ecuador
