Like my mate (below) we both have bright yellow eyes
Like Boat-tails in the US, our plumages differ
And my mate is about 1/2 my size.

Which means "full of, or abounding in blood".

I am a Speckled Hummingbird
My defining marks are my black cheeks and white eye stripes
My throat, breast and underparts are speckled
And all but my two middle tail feathers are tipped white.
