I can live in scrub as Dee just discovered
I can also live near marshes or ponds
And my pattern can be variably colored.
(I see Black Racers, Rattlesnakes, and Corn Snakes now and then, but I think this was the first Garter snake I've seen out in my scrub jay area!)
