I am an adult Cucumber moth

Notice my butt looks like a tiny string mop

I wasn't so cute as a caterpillar

I ate and destroyed cucurbits crops.

I am known as a Cucumber Moth

In Africa and Asia, I'm considered a pest

I tend to eat fruit

There lies the dispute

I don't only eat, I infest!
