I am a Great White Heron
Well, maybe I am, or maybe I'm not
Some scientists think I might be a Great Blue in disguise
But there are multiple schools of thought.
Based on genetics, behavior and looks...
An answer is still being sought.

I am a Würdemann’s Heron
You might just think I'm a regular Great Blue
There is an all white Great Blue Heron subspecies,
And I'm somewhere between the two.

I am a Great White Heron though -
It's controversial if I'm just a Great Blue colored white,
But do not confuse me with a Great Egret,
My beak is thicker and and my legs are colored light.
