There is something not right with my eye

But I've lived at this park for a very long time

I can eat and swim, but probably not fly.

I am known as a male Redhead,

Swimming with my buddy, the American Wigeon,

I have a grey back, black tail, and red head

Considering my name, that last fact's a given.
