I can be found in Florida from May through December
In colder climates my season is shorter,
E.g., in Michigan from June through September.

I am a female Short-winged Green Grasshopper, If I was male, on my back you'd see some green
Males stridulate during mating to repel other males
And to look super sexy to me.
