Commonly called a giant airplant

Unfortunately, it is loved by Bromelliad Weevils

Who have taste for it is far beyond scant.

And also because of habitat destruction

And illegal collecting by very bad people.

This is Tillandsia utriculata
It's an endangered giant air plant
Because of Mexican Bromeliad Weevils
And loss of habitat, such as pinelands.
