I'm a generalist so I can live any place

I forage for food near water

Insects, plants or fish - I can always feed my face!

I am known as a Spotted Sandpiper

When I'm breeding I get spots on my belly,

My beak color changes to orange,

And my legs turn the color of lemon jelly.

When I was a chick I was precocial

I was able to walk when I was 4 hours old

By 18 days, I could fly and was fully mobile.

You can easily recognize me by the way I dance -
I shake my bootie but not my head.
