Let's you and I have a heart-to-heart talk

I generally like most other critters 

But I take issue with Great Pondhawks

I understand predator-prey relationships

But I do not enjoy being the prey who is stalked!

You know I'm male because I'm olivaceous

My wing stripes get darker as I get older

Which I do on a regular basis.

My conservation status is "Least Concern"

Which means my species is under no threat.

The southern US and South America are my typical range
But I have been seen as far north as Michigan
Possibly due to climate change.
