This is Cirsium horridulum

A thistle I write about every year

They have lots of thorns

That can leave your hands torn

But it's where all the cool insects appear.

This plant is Cirsium horridulum

Also known as Bristle, Purple or Horrid Thistle

It is loved by bugs and birds and critters

It's usage to wildlife is almost abyssal!

This is Cirsium horridulum

Also known as "Purple" or "Bristle" Thistle

It attract tons of cool butterflies and insects

And has prickly leaves as sharp as a sickle.
