This is one of Dee's favorite plants

Commonly known as Pink Sundew

It's bright red and pink

You never would think

It eats insects that get stuck in its goo.

This plant is known as Pink Sundew

It's a different type of carnivorous plant

It secretes a sticky, acidic substance

From its leaves covered in tentacle-like glands

Insects get stuck, 

And say "On no, I'm [in trouble]"

The leaves fold in, ending the insects life span.

Location: Apalachicola National Forest

Such an innocent name despite it's demeanor.

What looks like dew,

Is a sticky goo

Bugs land, the plant chomps - it's a meat eater!

I am a plant known as Pink Sundew

I am native to Florida and I am carnivorous

The dew on my leaves is actually mucus

That bugs get stuck on, and I eat them, delicious!
