We are known as Dark Flower Scarabs

We feed on pollen and sap and fruit

We occasionally are pests of mangoes and corn

Destroying the flowers before fruit is produced.

I am known as a Flower Beetle

In the day you can find me in most Florida spots

I feed on pollen, sap and flowers

And can be a pest to corn and fruit crops.

I'm dark with markings the color of cream

Some consider me a pest because I snack on

Corn, roses, and flowers from fruit bearing trees.
