I am a Gray Hairstreak

I'm in the family called Gossamer Wings

On my hindwings I have two short tails

And red-capped black spots, among other things.

I am known as a Gray Hairstreak

My color is darker when my wings are open

When my wings are closed,

As you would suppose

They are grey with streaks that are mottled and broken.
