This plant is known as Sandhill St. John's Wort

Some people say Perforate St. John's Wort helps with depression

But these make me happy, such cute little flowers, 

And I'll choose viewing them over ingestion. 

(Note: This plant Hypericum tenuifolium, the alleged medicinal one is Hypericum perforatum.)

This is Hypericum tenuifolium

It grows very well in the sand

Ironically it can't tolerate salt water

And only grows well on higher dry land.

And it's much prettier than Voldemort.

This is Hypericum tenuifolium

Also known as Atlantic St. John's-Wort

It is a short-lived perennial that propagates via seeds

And grows better in sand than in dirt.
