This is a plant called Pine Lily

It is from a large and complex plant family

The family includes Asparagus and Sarsaparilla
And Aloe, which can be used medicinally.

This flower is known as Pine Lily

It grows well in wet prairies and savannahs

It's fruit is a small capsule that bursts open when ripe

- not the yellow things that look like tiny bananas.

This is known as a Pine Lily

It attracts Green Lynx Spiders and butterflies

It's flowers are yellow and orange

Just like the fires that help it to thrive.
