I can be a pest because I damage corn crops

In wintertime I gather with a few million friends

And we hang out in very large flocks.

It's probably me, and you are being misled.

I look like a blackbird, but taller and longer

I'll eat grain and seed, if you're inclined to feed,

Spread it on the ground and I'll quench my hunger.

I won't marry you and I can't elope.
