I am a Reddish Egret

When I'm hungry I cause quite the scene

My wings, I will beat

I'll kick up mud with my feet

It's my way of finding some fishy cuisine.

I am a Reddish Egret

I'm cinnamon and grey with a two-toned bill

You can find me dancing crazy in the water

Performing a solo, frenetic quadrille.

Location: Melbourne Beach, Sebastian Inlet State Park

I am a Reddish Egret,
But I am a white morph, I have no red at all.
You can tell I'm a Reddish Egret by my chunky beak,
And compared to a white-phase Little Blue I'm quite tall.

Note: Despite the lack of red, this is still a Reddish Egret. Little Blues go through a white phase when they are young, which they grow out of. Compare with a white morph, which is a lifetime coloring.

I'm a Reddish Egret,
I have a grey body and red neck and head.
My bill's black and pink, and you probably think,
That I dance like a drunken coed.
