Laguncularia racemosa is known as White Mangrove

The genus name Laguncularia is not in dispute - 

It's from a Latin word that means "a little flask"

Which describes the shape of its fruit.

Location: Vero Beach, Lagoon Greenway

This is a White Mangrove
The leaves are notched at the tip but mostly round.
Of the 3 mangrove species in Florida
These live on the highest ground.
