I am a Yellow-rumped Warbler

Its unusual to have black spots on my neck

I'm not sure what they are, they could be ticks

And due to the location, it's difficult to check

But I'm a perching bird who feeds on seeds,

So ticks are a logical suspect.

I am, by far, the most common

I am known as a Yellow-rumped Warbler, 

Cause my butt is the color of pollen.

The branch is strategically placed -
But you can still ID me by my broken eye-ring
And the white on my throat and my dark face.

Like the Swallows, I eat Wax Myrtle berries
In the east I'm known as a Myrtle Warbler
But I like bugs too - my diet, it varies.

I am a Yellow-rumped Warbler
Of the Myrtle subspecies specifically.
You can tell by the fact that I have a white chin,
And the fact that I was seen in the east.

My call is a somewhat flat "chip"
I have a yellow tattoo on the small of my back
Because I think that it makes me look hip.
